At Porter’s Restoration, we know and understand the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the needs of our community.  Based in Dyer, Indiana, Porter’s is at the nexus of the Southern Cook / Northwest Indiana region, and we have been an essential part of the community’s home restoration needs since 1978.  However, our expertise in the area of restoration goes back long before that.

Porter’s started in 1951 as a small, family-run dry cleaning business.   Starting in 1978, we began specializing in restoring personal property, including clothing and other garments, from soot and odor damage.  From here, it was a natural progression which led Porter’s to the home restoration field, where the skills gained through hard work and family values could be used to help restore homes suffering from fire and water damage.

Porter’s Restoration has built up a sturdy and well-founded reputation with many clients, both personal and professional.  We remain a preferred contractor for many insurance companies, including State Farm Insurance.  The homeowner is our number one client, and through working with insurance companies and personal homeowners, we have built our knowledge base with the customer in mind.  That is why we dedicate so much time and energy to ensuring the peace of mind of our customer in such a difficult and stressful time.   With Porter’s, you can feel secure in the knowledge that your home restoration is in good hands.
