The weather was perfect and the turn out was even better. The citizens from the town of Schererville came out in conjunction with the town festival for the annual parade through downtown.
From West Joliet Street to Austin Avenue people lined the streets with their kids to celebrate, gather candy and enjoy the view of loud fire trucks, screaming police cars, a marching band, silly clowns and a great looking truck from Porters Restoration. Three employees from our very own drove the new truck, greeting the crowd and throwing candy to excited kids along the way.
